Why use water? A limited resource

Water uses are classified as primary (which are necessary) and secondary (are expendable). There is another way to classify their applications:

- Consumptive uses. Are those that involve the use
water consumption - non-consumptive uses. Are those in which no water is consumed, so that can be reused immediately.

ecological flow is called the minimum water flow, below which endangers the survival of flora and fauna of the aquatic ecosystem and its banks.
Also called maintenance flow and its value varies from one river basin to another. Usually 10% of average annual flow.

English Every day consumes 2550 liters of water. Of these, the majority, 68% is intended for agricultural use, followed by the use indutrial, 19%, and urban use, 13%. Urban water consumption in Spain is 330 liters per person per day.

denominate that potable water is suitable for human consumption. Water water is not pure water but contains a certain amount of dissolved mineral salts.
until it reaches the tap water has come a long way involved in their recruitment, transportation, treatment in a water treatment plant and distribution.

resource means any component of the natural environment whose use is of interest to people. The soil, vegetation, fisheries, oil or a beehive are examples of resources.

Depending on their capacity for regeneration differ:

  • renewable resources. They those who are part of a natural cycle that can regenerate after use. A renewable resource can be consumed on a permanent basis provided they do not exceed the capacity of recovery.
  • nonrenewable resources. are those that do not regenerate after use or it takes many generations in return so are depleted as they are used. The oil is considered non-renewable resource because resilience is very low.

Water for Life

More than one billion people worldwide do not have access to drinking water. Take unsafe water sanitation and this circumstance causes disease and death. According to the UN every day 6000 children die from diseases caused by consumption of unsafe water.
United Nations stated that "everyone has the right to water and this law is a prerequisite for all others."

A planet called Water

Earth is the only planet in the solar system has water in 3 states. The waters covering 70% of the Earth's surface and the average depth of the oceans is 3800 meters. The problem is that almost all water Earth is salty.
Of all the water on the planet less than 1% can be utilized by mankind (groundwater, rivers and lakes).

water in living

The importance of water for life is that:

- is the major component of living things. represents 65% of the weight of an adult.
- is the principal biological solvent. acts as a transport of substances in our body.
- Provides an appropriate way to many reactions that characterize life.
- Help keep our body temperature constant.

Clarithromycin Makes My Mouth

What can we do?

  • The need for early action to tackle climate change.
  • The climate system has inertia.
  • Climate change affects the entire planet and we should all invest.
  1. Madidas to tackle climate change.
-Increase use of renewable energies.

-Improving automobile efficiency.

-Improving the energy efficiency of appliances.

-Promote energy efficiency in buildings.

-Promote scientific research and technological development.

-Protect and enhance natural sinks.

-Research and technology experience serving as artificial sinks.

2. What can you do?

-Recycle glass, paper, cardboard, cans and containers.

-Buy products that use little packaging.

-Use reusable shopping bags when you go to AHAC purchase.

-Walk or ride your bike in case a few kilometers.

"If you have to go further, use public transport.

-Turn off the lights when you do need and use energy saving light bulbs.

"Do not let the TV, computer or stereo in standby (wait).

-down the heat in winter. Do not put in summer cooling below 24 ° C.

Where climate change leads

To make projections, forecasts are used in complex models. The model can be used to predict what will happen if it increases, for example, content CO2 from the atmosphere.

Fabila To assess a model, past data are entered and checked for predicted with sufficient accuracy lasituación current and therefore known. If so, the model is considered validated.

what climate models predict?

  • The global average temperature of Earth will have increased at the end of the century between 1.4 and 6 º C.
  • sea level at the end of the century will be between 20 and 80 cm above the current. Many coastal areas will be flooded.
  • Severe weather accentuate extremes. Become more frequent and intense hurricanes, droughts, floods and heat waves.
  • environment: loss of biodiversity, altering seasonal rhythms of species, loss of wetlands and other ecosystems are particularly vulnerable.
  • health effects, particularly in non-developer. Tropical diseases like malaria could spread to areas that now have temperate climates.

A disparate impact
  • Not all places are equally vulnerable to a given change . For example, rising sea level will affect most coastal areas, its cities and its ecosystems.
  • everywhere No changes will be of the same magnitude. While it is expected an increase of precipitation on a global scale, its distribution is very uneven, so that in some places, such as the Mediterranean, rainfall will decrease.

Increased greenhouse gases

As of 1750, with the start of the industrial revolution the concentration of these gases has been increasing and now this incrtemento mind deepens dramatically.

activities that generate the greatest increase in greenhouse gases:
  • combusribles burning fossil fuels. emissions of greenhouse gases more important due to burning oil, gas and coal.
  • deforestation. vegetation due to the dotosíntesis, removed from the atmosphere imprtantes amounts of CO2. Accordingly, any activity involving a reduction in forest area tnedrá result in an increase of CO2 in the atmosphere.
  • Certain farming activities. Domestic cattle, beef, veal or pork emitted into the atmosphere great cantdad of methane generated in the intestinal fermentation. Also, certain crops such as rice, emit this gas is, after the CO2, which is influencing more global warming.
  1. An unequal distribution.
Everyone emit CO2 into the atmosphere, and we do not only breathing but also when we turn on the heater, connect the TV or pick up the car.

Why climate change?

1. External causes or astronomical.
are reasons beyond the internal climate system of Earth.
  • solar activity changes . Affect the very source of energy and its consequences reach Earth.
  • Changes in Earth orbit. Obiter described by Earth gradually changes from an almost circular to a more elliptical. This process takes about 100,000 years and adjust the radiation that reaches Earth.
  • meteorite impact. A meteorite is sprayed to collide with Earth and creates a dust cloud that lingers long in suspension.

2. internal causes.
Determine what to do with that radiation.
  • Changes in albedo. The average value of the Earth is 30% but varies greatly from one area to another. Consequently, changing the surface coverage is amended global temperature.
  • Changes in atmospheric composition. The atmospheric composition can be changed by the intervention of agencies, which will increase or decrease the amount of CO2 and O2, or a major volcanic activity can introduce much CO2 in the air, but also as a result of burning fuels and other human activities increasing CO2 and O2 decrease.
  • Changes in ocean currents. In areas close to Ecuador more solar radiation reaches the latitudes near the poles, leading to large temperature differences. Ocean currents, winds also, help reduce these differences.

Can Thin Women Have Big Boobs

past climates

Throughout the history of the Earth's climate has changed many times and made it even globally affecting the entire planet.

20000 years ago ice covered northern Europe, Scandinavia, reaching 2500 meters thick. This was the latest Quaternary glacial advance, a period covering the last 2 Ma But there have been very warm periods, with average temperatures exceeded 22 º C.

CHANGES IN SEA LEVEL

-Changes in water cycle . In summary, the water cycle involves evaporation of the oceans, forming clouds which precipitates and back to sea, or gone directly travésde rivers. During the glacial periods is frequent rainfall and snow and ice transfomer remains on the continents. The withdrawal of seawater and their accumulation on the continents as ice represents a decrease of sea level.
"Thermal expansion of water. In the warm periods sea level rises, not only because acumuldo ice melts and more water in the oceans, but because to find ocean water expands at higher temperatures.

Putting Oil In A Spray Bottle

greenhouse GREENHOUSE

-water vapor. Is the main contributor to the greenhouse effect.
carbon-dioxide. Next in importance to water vapor. Naturally, is emitted by volcanoes and by agencies in their breathing.
-Methane. Issued in the digestion of ruminants, landfills and swamps.

HOW THE GREENHOUSE

solar radiation reaching the Earth is three ways:

-30% is reflected by the atmosphere or the earth's surface and returned to the outer space without nustro planet warms in this process. This is what is known as albedo.
"The 19% is absorbed by clouds and other atmospheric components.
-The remaining 15% is absorbed by the earth's surface increases its temperature.

returns that energy surface that has absorbed, but in the form of infrared radiation. The greenhouse gases absorb infrared radiation, warming the air and hinder the emission of heat into outer space. But in the end just going outside.

atmospheric composition

The air is composed mostly of nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%). The remaining 1% is the most abundant gas argon. Carbon dioxide represents only 0.036%.

But the air is never completely dry and clean. Containing an amount of water vapor and small particles in suspnsión, Call Ringtone aerosols, which may be natural orign such as windblown dust, sea salt l or volcanic emissions, or may be due to human activities, such as soot produced the burning of forests and shrubs.

A natural greenhouse

our planet's temperature would be -18 º C in the absence of atmosphere, as it should it reaches 15 º C. The difference between the two values \u200b\u200bis known as a natural greenhouse effect, a term that refers to the behavior of terrestrial atmospheric acting as a transparent protective cover, reminiscent of the glass of a greenhouse. Solar radiation passes but makes the heat loss, thus increasing the temperature of surrounding air.

Evidence of climate change

- Retreating glaciers. In recent decades there has been a general retreat of glaciers in the mountains, especially in the northern hemisphere. The process is accelerating and also affects the ice, or ice cap that covers the ocean in polar regions. During the summer, the area covered by Arctic sea ice has decreased by 14%, but its thickness has hevho 40%.

- Increase in sea level. During the twentieth century sea level has risen at a rate between 1 and 2 mm / year. The process is accelerating and, between 1993-2003 the average increase was 3 mm / year. And the result of the merger of much of continental ice and thermal expansion of ocean water.

- Increase in global average temperature. The glacial retreat and sea level rise are nothing more than direct consequences of the increase in average surface temperature of the continents and oceans.

- Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent. Periods of drought, floods, heat waves and cyclones normally form part climate dynamics. However, a feature of climate change is that these extreme events are exacerbated and increase their frequency.

- Many living organisms are changing their behavior and distribution. was observed seasonal changes in rates, changes in the migratory processes of aces in the flowering season of plants n the spatial distribution of species.

GLOBAL CHANGE

The climate seems to have gone mad. In the last decade has reached the highest temperatures of a century. The ice has disappeared from places where there were glaciers. The sea temperature is also rising. Periods of drought are followed by floods. Some birds migrate to winter in warmer areas have stopped.

The surface temperature rises and the cause is likely to be sought in human activity. The IPCC forecast for the current century, an average increase in temperature between 1.5 º C and 5.8 º C. This implies global calentamineto: climate change, altered d functioning ecosystems, major transformations in land use and biodiversity loss.

global change is one of the biggest problems humanity will face n the coming decades.

Dave Matthews Band-Pepsi Music 2008 (Audio Console)

The presentation of Dave Matthews Band in Argentina, the first of the band in that country, was held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires, under the Pepsi Music festival in this edition included the participation of 160 bands, including Nine Inch Nails, The Cult, Stone Temple Pilots, The Hives, Mötley Crüe and Uruguayan musicians such as El Cuarteto de Nos and Argentina as Fito Paez and Babasonicos.
At that time the band performed before 1 2000 people that cheered.
At the beginning of the second issue, a power outage knocked out sound to the band, who despite not being able to be heard through the speakers kept playing until the audio returned. During that time Dave Matthews walked off the stage and went to greet the audience that was located near the security fence.
The technical fault led to those who witnessed the show to sing, as a sign of discontent with the situation, a song that repeatedly and ironically said "Coca Cola, Coca Cola," an allusion to the rival brand of the company sponsoring the event.

I can not miss the death of LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and band founder Dave Matthews Band, who died on the 19th of August 2008 at age 46 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident last June.
Moore was a versatile musician who liked to participate in jam sessions in which they showed their skills with different types of saxophone (bass, baritone, tenor, alto and soprano) and the flute and bass clarinet. Here I

leave a video for those who do not know what they're talking about.

What Does A Liver Feel Like

Lila Downs, Shake Away

Lila Downs has put the rest in his eighth work in recent months has just launched and it does really show who he is. An exercise in sincerity like a pendulum marking the poles of mixed nature.

To begin the two tracks on the CD clearly shows their origin from mother india, "Ojo de Culebra" influence of the medicine women of Oaxaca and culebreros of Veracruz while "Shake Away" marks the parent-child traits of North American origin.

Of the 16 songs that takes, extras included, you could write a treatise on the fusion of styles. Cumbias, folk songs, rancheras, blues, classic rock or displayed in perfect disorder. English and Castilian alternate course. Thirteen of the cuts to his name with his regular partner and an excellent saxophonist Paul Cohen. The co-production is also signed by Brian Lynch and Aneiro Tano. All seasoned with traditional mariachis, a Balkan band, to give an example, and great musicians like Ken Basman, Juancho Herrera, Celso Duarte, Rob Curto's accordion, guitars, Humberto Herrera, Booker King on bass and percussion of the Chilean and Colombian Yayo Samuel Torres. Singers from around the world collaborate to Oaxaca, Mercedes Sosa, singer Ruben Albarran from Café Tacuba, Gilberto Guiterrez of Mono Blanco, Raul Midon, Enrique Bunbury, etc.
